A T-Shirt That Disappears In Nature Rolled Out
Yeşim Group has implemented a new project that will raise awareness in the apparel industry and add value to the sustainable clean production approach. With the special project carried out in cooperation with Yeşim R&D Center and Design Directorate, biodegradable t-shirts and sweatshirts were developed.
The “Biodegredable Product Project”, which aims to ensure that products disappear in nature without the need for recycling, was completed as a result of a long-term study. Once the special yarn required for Yeşim’s project, which is attached great importance by the world brands Yeşim produces for, was supplied from a Korean company, the production process of biodegradable fabrics started in the R&D Center. Then, all manufacturing processes of the product were made 100 percent degradable, and fully biodegradable t-shirts and sweatshirts were obtained successfully.
