Our Achievements

  1. 2024

    • The Awareness Circle workshop program, implemented in cooperation with Yeşim Group, Uludağ Soroptimist Club and Bursa Karapınar Women's Cooperative in order to raise women's awareness on gender equality and legal rights, was awarded by the Women Friendly Brands Platform in the category of Women Entrepreneurs and Women's Empowerment.

    • Almaxtex Textile participated in the TechXtile Innovation League, which brings together the stakeholders of the textile and apparel sector, with two projects titled "Bio-Solution Transforming into Nature" and "Digitalization Studies in Decision Support Systems in Control and Warehouse Addressing Processes" and received the Most Sustainable Project Award with the "Bio-Solution Transforming into Nature" project.

    • Yeşim ranked 239th in the Turkey's Top 500 Industrial Enterprises 2023 survey prepared by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO). Almaxtex, which exported 240 million 364 thousand dollars last year, became the 86th company to export the most among Turkey's Top 500 Industrial Enterprises with this figure, and the 33rd most successful company in this field with employment of 4 thousand 788 people.
       

  2. 2023

    • Yeşim was included in the Business Against Domestic Violence companies’ good practice examples booklet.

    • Yeşim was selected as a “WEPs Ambassador” within the scope of the “WEPs From Words to Action” project of the WEPs (Women’s Empowerment Principles) Center of Excellence to be established by UN Women Türkiye.

    • Nike confirmed that the Yeşim Group’s efforts towards gender equality are at the highest level. As a result of the assessments made by Nike Headquarters, the Yeşim Group's main plant became the first and only supplier calibrated at the highest level in terms of gender equality in the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.

    • Almaxtex Textile, one of the companies of Yeşim Group, ranked 68th in the "R&D 250, Türkiye's Companies with the Highest R&D Expenditures" 2022 survey, which was carried out for the 9th time this year by the economy and business world portal Turkishtime.

    • Almaxtex Textile Industry and Trade Inc., operating under the roof of Yeşim Group, found its place in the "ISO 500 list" again. Almaxtex Textile, which realised net sales from production of 5 billion 13 million 84 thousand 734 ₺ in 2022, ranked 193rd in the ISO 500 general ranking and took place in the list of Türkiye's Top 500 Industrial Enterprises.

    • According to the results of the "Turkey R&D 250 Survey", which shows Türkiye's R&D performance in 2022 to the whole world, Almaxtex Textile ranked 68th in the list with R&D expenditure of 68,533,176₺ last year. Almaxtex Textile signed 19 R&D projects in 2022.

  3. 2022

    • Almaxtex Textile, one of Yeşim Group companies, ranked in the top 50 in the "R&D 250, Turkey's Companies with the Highest R&D Expenditures" 2021 survey, organized for the ninth time this year by Turkishtime, the economy and business portal.

    • Yeşim - Almaxtex Tekstil was awarded the first prize in the "Energy efficiency" category at the Efficiency Project Awards organized by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology.

    • In the Economist Magazine's 2021 "Anatolia's 500 Largest Companies" ranking, Yeşim Sales Stores ranked 54th in the general list, while Yeşim - Almaxtex Textile Industry and Trade Inc. also ranked 82nd.

    • Almaxtex Textile Industry and Trade Inc., with net sales from production of 2,432,238,108₺, rose 9 places compared to 2021 and ranked 189th in the ISO 500 list. Almaxtex Textile ranked 13th among the 26 Bursa companies participating in the research.

    • In the 2021 "Turkey's 500 Largest Private Companies" survey prepared by Capital Magazine, Yeşim Sales Stores under the Yeşim Group rose 53 places and ranked 241st on the list. Almaxtex Textile Industry and Trade Inc. also moved up 32 places and ranked 332nd.

    • Yeşim Group received the "Platinum Award at the Export Success" at the Silkworm Export Award Ceremony organized annually by UTIB and UHKIB.

  4. 2021

    • Yeşim-Almaxtex Textile was ranked 44th in the “100 Women-Friendly Companies” survey prepared by Capital Magazine.

    • Yeşim was cited as a good example in the report “Supporting Women’s Employment through Institutional Collaboration: Early Childhood Care and Education Practices” prepared by the Ankara Office of the International Labor Organization (ILO).

    • The “Sustainability Leaders 50” list, prepared by Fast Company Magazine and carried out for the first time in Turkey, was announced. Yeşim Group CEO Şenol Şankaya was among the 50 leaders selected by a global jury evaluation out of 135 leaders nominated during the two-month application process.

    • Yeşim was entitled to receive the Awareness Award and Consumer Special Award at the “Women-Friendly Brands Special Awards” ceremony organized for the first time that year by the Women-Friendly Brands Platform.

    • Yeşim was awarded the Innovation League Achievement Award within the scope of the TechXtile Start-Up Challenge Program organized by Uludağ Textile Exporters Association (UTIB) and Uludağ Apparel and Clothing Exporters Association (UHKIB).

    • Yeşim Group received the 'Sector Leaders' and 'Export' Awards at the "Adding Value to the Economy" Award Ceremony organized by BTSO.

  5. 2020

    • Yeşim was deemed worthy of the “Company Adding Value to the Economy” award at the awards ceremony for “Those Adding Value to the Economy” held by the Western Thrace Association of Managers, Industrialists and Businessmen (BATISİAD).

    • Yeşim succeeded in entering the top 50 by being ranked 42nd in the “Women-Friendly Companies” survey conducted for the eighth time by Capital Magazine.,

    • Yeşim was cited as the best example in the survey on “Gender Equality in Textiles” commissioned by the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW), with the theme of “Women’s Empowerment” within the scope of Nike’s 2025 strategies.

    • Yeşim R&D Center participated in the TechXtile Start-Up Challenge, an entrepreneurship program organized by Uludağ Textile Exporters Association (UTİB), and won the third prize in the corporate category with its YSMGUARD Mask Project.

    • Almaxtex Textile, one of the Yeşim Group companies, was ranked among the top 100 companies with the highest R&D expenditures in 2019, according to the “R&D 250, Companies Spending the Most on R&D in Turkey” survey prepared by Turkishtime. In the survey, in which defense industry companies made their presence felt, Almaxtex Textile Industry and Trade Inc. staked its claim by being ranked 73rd in the general classification.

    • Yeşim Sport Basketball Team became champions of Bursa for the 2019/2020 season in the Senior Men’s League with its young team consisting entirely of 18-year-old players. Yeşimspor also came first in its group in the Turkish U18 Men’s Basketball First Regional Championship held in Sakarya between 10-14 March 2020, and earned the right to go to the Turkish U18 Young Men’s Championship Semi-Finals.

    • Yeşim received a full score from the audit processes in the fields of Social Compliance, Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety, Sustainability, and Lean Production and earned the right to be promoted to the “Silver” category among Global Nike suppliers.

  6. 2019

    • Yeşim was elected to the board of directors at the 7th Ordinary General Assembly of Global Compact Türkiye and took up its position on the board of directors for the 3rd time in a row.

    • At the 41st Vodafone Istanbul Marathon, Yeşim’s Running Team was the organization collecting the most donations and reaching the most donors for the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV).

    • Yeşim was deemed worthy of the “Turkish Company Contributing the Most to Exports from Turkey” award at the American Business Association (AmCham) awards ceremony.

    • Yeşim received the Respect for Humanity Award at the “Respect for Humanity Awards” ceremony organized by Kariyer.net.

    • Yeşim Sports Club’s basketball team became the champions of Bursa in the 2019 Senior Men’s and U18 Youth Leagues.

    • The International Center for Research on Women (ICRW), which was assigned by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to conduct research on participation in service delivery to the private sector, listed Yeşim among the “Global Best Practices for Meeting the Care Needs of Women in the Private Sector” in its Care and Competitiveness Field Research Report.

    • Yeşim was considered worthy of the R&D Center Award within the scope of the “TechXtile Start-Up Challenge” program organized by Uludağ Textile Exporters Association (UTİB) in cooperation with UHKİB, BTSO, BEBKA, BUTEKOM and TÜBİTAK.

    • Yeşim was deemed worthy of the Turkish Textile Innovation League Award within the scope of the “TechXtile Start-Up Challenge” program organized by Uludağ Textile Exporters Association (UTİB) in cooperation with UHKİB, BTSO, BEBKA, BUTEKOM and TÜBİTAK.

    • Yeşim was awarded the first prize in the “Generation and Diversity Management” category at the Human Value awards ceremony held at the People Management Association of Turkey (PERYÖN) Headquarters.

  7. 2018

    • Yeşim was granted the “Most Innovative Company” award by Uludağ Textile Exporters Association (UTİB) at the R&D Project Market Summit.

    • Based on the results of the Seventh Türkiye Reputation Index Research and the Bursa Reputation Index organized for the first time in 2018, Yeşim was selected as the most reputable brand in the textile field in Bursa.

    • Yeşim was entitled to receive the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems Certificate, signifying that environmental awareness is observed in both production and business processes. 

    • Yeşim earned the right to receive the “Authorized Economic Operator Certificate”, which is internationally valid and facilitates import-export transactions by accelerating them.

  8. 2017

    • Yeşim was one of five companies that told their sustainability stories at the SÜR 2017 conference organized by the Turkish Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TÜSİAD) thanks to its World of the Butterfly project and other activities carried out for women.

    • Yeşim was deemed worthy of an award in the “Strategic Management” category in the Innovation and Creativity Competition organized by BUSİAD.

    • Yeşim was considered worthy of the “Brand Adding Value to the City” award as a result of the survey conducted by Marketing Turkey’s Akademetre Research and Strategic Planning company.

    • Yeşim received the Respect for Humanity Award for its human resources projects at the Kariyer.net Human Resources Summit.

    • Yeşim earned the Contribution to Logistics Award, which was given for the second time in 2017 at the 8th Atlas Logistics awards ceremony.

  9. 2015

    • Yeşim was entitled to receive a grant of 5000 Euros from the European Soroptimist Action Fund with the “World of the Butterfly” project it carried out together with Uludağ Soroptimist Club, and succeeded in publicizing its efforts in this field in the global arena.

  10. 2013

    • At the “SGIA Specialty Printing and Imaging Technology Expo” held in USA, Yeşim received the “Gold Image” and “Silver Image” awards for its printing techniques exhibited in the competition.

  11. 2011

    •  Yeşim was given the “Respect for Humanity” award by Kariyer.net at the Human Resources Summit.

  12. 2008

    • Yeşim Group CEO Şenol Şankaya signed a declaration signed by CEOs of 157 global companies around the world on the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. Yeşim was one of two Turkish companies that signed this declaration published in the global edition of the Financial Times newspaper.

    • Yeşim was awarded first prize in the Ministry of Energy’s project competition entitled “Energy Efficiency in Industry”.

  13. 2007

    • According to Economist Magazine’s ranking of “50 Influential Businessmen of Anatolia”, Yeşim Group CEO Şenol Şankaya was ranked 8th in 2007.

    • In Nike Turkey Office’s assessment of all suppliers, Yeşim received the award for “The Plant that Best Spreads the Lean Culture to the Whole Plant” and the “Agility Award” for its important joint projects carried out with Nike.
