Visit by Fair Labor Association (FLA) to Yeşim Group
As part of the Fair Labor Association's (FLA) visits to Türkiye to assess social compliance efforts in the agriculture and textile sectors, a visit was organized to Yeşim Group's central factory in Bursa. In the event, which was held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the association's establishment, a team of approximately 20 people from universities, trade unions and FLA members closely observed the importance Yeşim Group attaches to work-life balance, the social services offered to employees and social compliance projects.
The visit started with a tour of Yeşim Kindergarten, supported by a presentation by Behiç Gülşen, VP of Human Resources and Organizational Development at Yeşim Group, and continued with inspections of various parts of the factory. The FLA team had the opportunity to once again evaluate Yeşim Group's strong commitment to social compliance during this visit, which they found particularly important in terms of protecting the rights of employees and observing sustainable business practices on site.
